After you stop then it begins to wear off right away. It doesn't matter how long you were on the drug, it still stays in the body about the same length of time if you haven't topped up with a new implant. All of it should be out the system by 4 months after the last implant was due if you had had it.

So about 2 weeks and you should start to notice the side effects beginning to diminish

Re-starting periods depends on ovulation which also depends on the pituitary gland in the brain waking up.

This does vary. Average is 5 months to start a period, so 4 months to ovulate again.

Might be much quicker might take over a year or longer. It depends on fate.

Each of us reacts differently and there is no hard and fast rule.

Just enjoy the time between the drug wearing off and the periods and endo symptoms returning again. They will do for most ladies, but how long it takes is anyone's guess.

Not what you're looking for?
