I haven't had any problems at work, my boss and colleagues are all easy to talk to, they don't understand but are all supportive. There is a document on the Endometriosis UK website, Endometriosis in the Workplace, A resource for employers which you could download and give it to your bosses to have a look at. Have a read of it yourself and see what you think. It's in the FAQ section in Support and Lifestyle. X
I had to have a meeting with occupational health who they sent a letter to my personnel manager saying I came under the disability discrimination act due to my endo! It's a long term condition and they have to make reasonable adjustments for you.
I just find it bloody frustrating cos I can't do my job to the best of my abilities as I'm so bloody tired and sore
Not everyone understands we can't expect them to we look fine on the outside so have to learn to be patient wit people.
All you can do is explain the situation and let them know when you feel particularly rubbish.
hope this helps
