I had Herpes Simplex Encephalitis the day after my first birthday, so I would have been 14 months old when I was in your position. However I was put on anti seizure medication, and to this day I have never had a single day without being on medication and I will be for life. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything at all anytime. I'm always happy to help if I can.
