hi I am taking g 20mg of cetrizine a day as I was told at allergy clinic I just had a urticara ? I had come out in unknown rashes on face and neck in the past

now despite taking more than my dose..(now taking 30mg)

my back has developed an allergy to something . do I go back to docs ?? .

I would say this is hormone related but I see you are on levothyroxine so the rash could be to do with levothyroxine ? hormones do have a role in hypothyroidism usually you are estrogen dominent

When you are estrogen heavy you develop allergies so although progesterone would counter the estrogen you may develop an allergic reaction to it

Hi, yes I'd go back to your doctor to get an opinion. I too suffer from a rash on my face which steriods and antihistamine help keep down. Am trying to find out what causes it, it started after we moved house 2 years ago, I also started growing squash and wondered if it may be plant related. Do you know what triggered your rash?
