Have been to physio today i scored 5/9 on the beighton score and said i am hypermobile but my knees are not, so what does this mean should i push my gp for a referal to a rumatologist or leave it at that, as i have to do excersises as my right side is completley weaker than the left but it really hurts to do the excersises? She also mentioned intensive physio if that doesnt work? But she did say i need to go to my gp about my blood pressure

Sorry for the essay "/

Did you GP use the RCGP EDS toolkit to diagnose you? If not, take the link with you next time you see them and tell them that they can diagnose you. It doesn't matter which joints are hypermobile, it is the Beighton score that counts, but there is lot more to it than that. Have a look at the RCGP site yourself and familiarise yourself with it. There is a tick list that you can print off and do and take with you to help your GP. Good luck!
