Hello

So on my mother's side there is Vascular type EDS unfortunately. My brother, who sadly passed away from a rupture inherited it from my mum who is thankfully still with us at a pretty good age of 62 and 2 pregnancies which seems like a miracle with this terrible defect. Anyway I wanted to ask if it is likely I have a different type of EDS or not. I have hypermobility in all joints, nothing too bad so far, not troubling too much except recently where I have been less active and I know seem to have real weakness in my right knee and hip leading to recently what felt like a knee dislocation. Anyone know if I am likely to have a different sub type of EDS or if it is more likely I have another connective tissue disorder? Just interested really that I know I don't have vascular but could all my wobbly clicky joints be connected to my family EDS and what that means for the future of my potential children...
