Hello everyone. I am new on the forum and diagnosed with Hypermobility everywhere in my body. Now I got my knees inflamed because of too much walking.Only bit of swelling on left knee but main pain is behind the knee, between the tendons .Doctor said use ice and warmth. It will be better in three or four month. Will be totally stiff by then .Has anyone had a similar bad experience and tried the Osmo patch for inflammation? Or what can I do to get better sooner . Many thanks for your help

Painful knees

I had bursitis on one knee many years ago. It did take a few months to get right. Rest initially and then gentle exercise. And as a preventative stop doing what was causing it. For me it was kick starting my little Honda H-100 motor bike. So I stopped doing that!
Thank you so much for your reply. Nice to Know that you Are better now.
Have seen a physiotherapist. She Said i have got a tendon sprain behind the knee
Had it for a Month now. Since i Pusch the Knees back whe standing i got pain now
in the lower leg muscles . But anyway i will keep your advice. Many thanks cyberbarn
Your story is very similar to mine. I'm currently waiting for physio after getting my diagnosis. However I was advised by the rheumatologist to do gentle exercise like swimming and gentle rotation on an exercise bike on lowest setting. With periods of rest. But exercise was definately the main recommended
I saw him on the 2nd Jan and my knees aren't perfect don't get me wrong but they are better. He also said I should see othapedics for my feet which I'm sure will support my knees. I've also found putting a pillow between my knees at night helps. I'm hoping the physio helps but waiting for that. Hope this helps
