My daughter has ED—HT. After taking a hard fall (on her face/head) from her horse, she’s developed a metallic tasting drip down the back of her throat most noticeable when she washes her face. The concern is that the dura sheath around the brain could’ve been compromised. Testing for it is troublesome, complicated, and not reliable. Butthere is a chance that what she’s tasting is a Cerebral Spinal Fluid leaking through her sinuses and down her throat. Have any of you had experience or heard of vulnerability with CSF Leaks?
I would appreciate any experience or insights. She sees the specialist next week. The CT Scan showed no fractures in her facial bones.

I don't have any personal experience, but my understanding is that yes, CSF leaks are more common in people who have any kind of connective tissue disorder, including EDS, see this video: youtube.com/watch?v=QyvWxob...
