Hi everyone, I am still fairly new to this site. So still finding my way.
Feels like I'm blowing up like a balloon. I've been gaining wait but it feels so uncomfortable. It must be water retention at a guess. I had negative bloods for Lupus but have all other symptoms. I also have EDS (still determining type, but many of the other illnesses that come under the EDS umbrella) and most likely SjΓΆgrens. But today my kidney area is inflammed and body feels swollen. I've gone from 7.2 to 8.7! But not eating like a Hippo!?!
Has anyone else felt like this? Can't cut much more out of my daily intake. Have IBS
I'm off to Dr Hakim next week, so hope to have more answers as well as local Rheumatologists. I hope I don't POP first π

Seeing Dr Hakim is definitely the best course of action to take - good luck with your consult. I know what you mean about you cannot cut any more from your diet. I have very low carb and no sugar. Not sure it helps at all, but diabetes reversed.
Thank you Jay. I feel so uncomfortable even my shoes feel tight. I'm only a size 3 shoe. So this is very very uncomfortable.
I'm in the midst of finishing my notes for Dr Hakim. So I'll be adding weight gain.
I just started taking Mebeverine so I'm not sure if that's the culprit or simply water retention. Feels like one more unknown issue on a long list of undiagnosed problems.
I shoyld have said, I've had hypothyroidism for 19yrs and I do have times when I know straight away that I'm off low or off balance. But I'm not having any normal symptoms of being off balance.
I'm having pain/inflammation feeling in left side and lower left back, increased joint pain, rash across bridge of nose and cheeks, cloudy pale urine in the morning, clear urine during day (intake of water isn't huge), sleeping more at night. Have felt lethargic for so long -over 2 yrs- I'm not sure what's normal any more. Thighs swell towards end of day.
New meds is only Mebeverine. Stopping that to see what happens.
Weight gain feels uncomfortable like bloating rather than actual body tissue.
Adding yo my notes to Dr Hakim and local Rheumatologist.
