I have been having a particularly rough time recently dealing with my CFS as I’ve had it for 8 years and am worst then I have been in a very long time. I don’t know if anyone else struggles more when it gets colder but for me it’s the worst time of year. Does any one have any recommendations for dealing with the pain I’m currently on amitriptyline and have tried so many other types of medicine that I’m feeling like a lost cause.
I’m willing to try anything so that I can function better at least whilst I’m still in education!

Hiya Heather, its very exhausting having pain all the time on top of exhaustion ! I've had pain for years, told it was m.e until I got an xray last year and found out its osteoarthritis. But either way, I've started seeing a chiropractor which has eased the pain a bit. Other things I've found are curcumin/turmeric supplement (which I've just started, its meant to be antiinflammatory) hot baths with Epsom salts. I also take vit d and Omega's fish oil. I lie down on a heat pad several times a day and do mindfulness which always helps with pain and exhaustion, feel more refreshed that sleeping. Hope you find some relief soon, best wishes x
