you might recall that I tried to write a blog about the terrible time I had with guillane barre syndrome over 20 years ago.i thought by writing about it,it would lay some of the ghosts to sleep!sadly I was wrong and I had to stop as it was realy upsetting.I then wrote about my dread of trying to claim pip in place of dla,the respondants were so encouraging, but I had boobed as I was claiming esa instead of incapacity benefit,we waited ages for a positive decision.finally we had to claim pip.after filling in the 40 page booklet we then had a home visit by a health advisor.we waited in dread for the result, right before Christmas and the imminent arrival of our first grandchild(20/12/2017).my nerves were shot, imagine my utter surprise on Friday(03/11/2017) we received a letter from the dwp advising me that my claim for pip had been successful! SO I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO WROTE SUCH NICE ENCOURAGING WORDS TO ME,THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
