I had a heart attack a year ago at the age of 44, felt sort of ok for the first few months after surgery, but the last six months I am struggling to have any energy or stay awake. I can get up to 16 hours sleep a day and still feel the need for a snooze, not sure how long work life nor home life can deal with this. As for getting a doctors appt, shall we not go there!! Any suggestions

There are many reasons that could cause your energy to be so low. You can only find out what the problem is by going to your GP and having tests done. If you are too ill to get to the surgery ask for a phone appointment and explain your situation. Community nurses can come to you to take bloods for testing.

Hope this is helpful.
