hi my daughter used to take venlafaxine, this was one of the worst medications she could have been on with her ME as it also made her more paranoid, have panic attacks, felt suicidal. It took her about 6 weeks to come off the medication but she was so much better after she came off it.

She then went onto another medication which calms her down so much more than the venlafaxine and did not have any nasty effects on her.

Hi there, hun, I'm on venlafaxine and I take temegesic. 2 three times a day. You dissolve them sub lingually, under your tongue, and they are very effective and keep me comfortable. Hope that helps. Barbara xx
