Hi. I was just wondering if anyone thought this seemed like quite a leap in one year??

GFR was 66.

Would that be something to worry about?

I've been back the gp recently as my B12 shots aren't making me feel much better. Still fatigued and suffering brain fog. I'm 41, non smoker.

Ps haven't spoken to the Dr yet as still waiting on other results and I'm just being curious...

Other things such as food intolerances in particular gluten intolerance can cause brain fog. Generally mainstream doctors don’t consider that. Have you looked into food intolerances which are different than food allergies?

So many factors influence Creatinine levels in blood work. Were both of these tests, a year apart, taken the same way (both fasting, or non fasting). Were you hydrated significantly for both tests. In the year period did you start to exercise more, or less? In the year has their been any dietary changes (eating more high protein foods?). Were both tests taken by the same lab? Before you jump to any conclusions, perhaps the best is to have another blood test and verify the reading. We measure our creatinine differently. But I get significant changes between tests. I sometimes am at 1.8 or 1.9, and then I get a 1.4, or just recently a 1.22. It jumps around.

Hi, thanks for your replies, nothing has changed. The blood tests are repeats of the tests I had last year. Literally no change in diet or exercise or the way the tests were done. I've had no prior food allergies. I was just being curious, I don't have the energy to jump to conclusions! 😜I'm still waiting on my folate results (this is what the Dr thinks the problem is)...tick tock 😊
