Hello and welcome to this very informative like minded members. Speak to you GP about your health concerns at this point Abhiranaa as they have all of your medical history and can best talk you though the result. This is because we don't have any background on yourself and it would not be advisable for the members to comment until you have some full information.

By all means come back to us then and join a very welcoming and supportive group.

Good luck and best wishes to you.

Hi Abhiranaa,

can you please share those.

None of us are medical experts but can only give advice from our own experiences. Depending on the lab, a creatinine of 1.2 could still be in the normal range. But when looking to see if anything is wrong with your kidneys the doctor should be doing other tests - blood & urine. it also takes multiple testing at multiple times to be able to tell what is going on. There are other factors that can affect your creatinine, like dehydration and exercise stress. That's why it can't just be a single test to tell about your kidney function.

As the nurse suggested, you should be talking to your doctor that ordered these tests & ask him questions regarding your kidney function.

Good luck
