Hi All - Dr Jason Fung, a nephrologist working specifically with weight and diabetes issues, is sharing some great wisdom and I highly recommend you tune into him. He, like myself, is a strong advocate of intermittent fasting. For the body to trigger what's called 'autophagy', we need to give it a rest from food. This allows the body to then basically 'clean house'. As I say - 'Eat real food, fast well'. You will feel the benefits. Finding tools also to come away from sabotaging mental constructs is also key - yoga and meditation are excellent and what I enjoy but explore what works for you that brings you back to the essence of who you really are rather than the machinations of the mind.

I like intermittent fasting, takes discipline too. I strive for 7/11 time frame.
Indeed. Well done. It doesn't have to be perfect. The intention behind what we do is very important rather than getting too caught up in the mental constructs. I love it too for how it brings us back to feeling what it is to be genuinely hungry. The body digests much more effectively when we eat from a place of true appetite.
