Recently diagnosed with ckd stage 3 I also have a severe case of hypothyroidism starting me on 300 mg of levothroxine today and now being tested for celiac disease... how are these things connected

I have no idea how they would be connected Thst also seems like a huge dose of medicine. My son has celiacs and generally has intestinal issues if wrong foods are consumed. Great luck!!

Hello Rmchan3, You must ask your doctors these kind of questions as you go to each appointment. The best thing is to write them down as you think of them, then you have the right questions to ask. Your situation seems more complicated than just CKD stage 3 (although this is quite serious), so you must ask about your levothroxine dosage and all about celiac disease, if you do have it. In the meantime, try to do some research on the Internet, making sure you use reliable sites, e.g.. 'NHS Choices", then you will have a better idea of what is happening to you - best wishes - Curleytop1.
