Hello. I am a newbie to this post. My husband recently found out that he is in stage 3 of kidney disease (CKD). He is 61 years old and he is just starting to be followed by a nutritionist and a renal doctor. Has anyone on this blog gone from stage 3 to stage 4? How long were you at stage 3? How are you doing now?

my husband as i keep telling people was stage 3 for at least 15/16 years that we know of unfortunately went from 3 to 4 to 5 very rapidly due to other health issues, he has been on dialysis for 6 1/2 years now he is 61 also follow the renal drs advice & nutritionists as best you can, never take it upon yourselves to cut out or down on stuff that you havnt been told to don't take any other medication or health supplements without gps advice & keep hydrated good luck x try to follow a good normal healthy diet x
