Hi everyone and hope your keeping well and keeping cool under this extremely hot weather!

How long after are we likely to receive results from Abdomen Ultrasound and 24 Hr blood pressure monitoring, after getting these tests?

Its been approx 4 weeks since my scan and I had bp 24 monitoring last Thursday.

I do have a follow up appointment with my Neph who ordered these tests 13th July 2017, so even though I know they will go through the results with me then, but I assume if anything sinister, like for EG the scan they would have been in touch by now and not let anything sinister drag on till my next neph appt?

I am keeping an open mind, but as an anxious person I just wondered. If i ring then i am only told to wait for them to contact me.

Thank you in advance x

Hi dizzydi

It's unlikely you will get any results before your next appointment unless as you say, there is an urgent problem. So try not to worry x
