You don't really need to follow a diet unless you have been told to just a good normal healthy diet

I agree with Phillen. If your consultant/specialist hasn't mentioned it to you I wouldn't worry. I have CKD3a and was simply told to 'eat healthily'. It did irk me somewhat because in my opinion what one person considers healthy may not be anothers !! Anyway, the main consideration is using salt - keep this to a minimum (if at all really but other than that just maintain a good healthy diet.

I am not a physician, but I think if you limit salt, protein and sugar and try to control your blood pressure and have some physical activities and brisk walking and have a proper diet of less viscosity and try not to be dehydrated, Deo Volentie, you will have a healthier life. I hope so.
