my opinion is never take anything without a doctors consent, when you have kidney failure it upsets the balance of these things ie can make you blood have too much calcium & not keeping it in your bones which then in turn causes calcification of the arteries! vit d also has to be carefully managed so best to ask your GP or better still your consultant
i recently complained to my doctor regarding spasms and cramps particularly on my legs and feet. I thought I just needed some vit B complex meds but she increased my vitamin c intake from 1 to 2 tabs a day instead. I feel dubious because yes it could cause calcium stones and calcification of arteries. Shall I continue using it?
