neck braces

If people are using neck braces and find they don't do much, I found this travel pillow on amazon "Trtl Pillow - Scientifically Proven Super Soft Neck Support Travel Pillow", it provides a physical support if your head is turning to the left or right. I found it to more effective (and a lot more comfortable) than a neck brace.

Thanks. Does it seem like it would be helpful in raising the head upwards? Although my head does pull to the left, I can move it from side to side but it also pulls my chin down to my chest with great force and I can’t raise my head myself without manual help (my husband or the occupational therapist can pull my head up into an almost normal position but I can’t hold it there for long unless I’m leaning back enough that gravity takes over. Does this pillow seem like it might be able to support the weight of my head ? ( I’m surprised at how heavy my head really is!!)

I don't think this neck pillow will help much with head vertical movement restrictions, however you might find one of these air cushion pillows to be more helpful with your condition, have a look at this one on amazon "Bureze Air Cushion Neck Cervical Traction Shoulder Support Brace Pillow Home Office Massage Pillow"

Hi I wondered how you or anybody else have found this neck pillow. I'm a physiotherapist and a patient's family have been asking about this particular pillow.
