I have moderate dyslexia, and I would like to be about to help other adults with their dyslexia, I would also like to make people more aware of dyslexia especially in the work place, as dyslexic people know, its not just about reading writting or numberacy problems, there other problems that really need address in today's society.

Hello - the above is a dyslexia organisation which helps dyslexic adults in various ways, including the workplace. It might be possible to volunteer to help this organisation in some way in your area?

Hi Helsbels1969, it'd be great to have your support!

We're currently in the process of setting up community groups around the UK. To get in touch with your local centre to find out whether there is a group in your area already, or to speak to them about setting one up, find your local centre's contact details here dyslexiaaction.org.uk/Page/...

If you do not have a local centre, or have any other issues, please email me on HQFundraising@dyslexiaaction.org.uk to discuss other options. Thanks!

I think raising awareness in the workplace especially is a great idea, I have quite a few problems in the work place that will always prevent me achieving my ideals, it very difficult to explain what these issues are or how they affect people without it sounding like a sob story or a cop out because people are just so unaware, I find it quite difficult.
