Hi new here, myself and my husband are both dyslexic and are 99% sure our 5 year old is. At what age did you get your children tested? as the school keep saying we have to wait until he is 7.

thanks

I was diagnosed at age 7... I'm not sure if knowing would make much of a difference at his age right now anyway. When I was 8 I still couldn't tie my shoes or tell time on an analog clock. However at 8 I was several years ahead of my peers in math. I hope this helps.

My daughter was 7, the school can put a SEND plan in place until then to help, it also takes a few visits to get the diagnosis, talk to school they will be able to help xx
