I want to stop drinking completely. I don't drink everyday but every weekend I always look for next opportunity to get pissed. not caring about others. drinking far too much and getting in a state.
I need to do this for my family. is there any tips to prevent the temptations
thank you

Get rid of all the alcohol at home. No excuses like “I need to keep some for my friends when they come round.”
Keep yourself physically away from pubs and parties. Not only will booze be present but also people who try and undermine you. One day you can go back and feel quite at ease standing with a soft drink in hand.
Replace the time spent drinking with enjoyable activities. Important: have other things to think about.
Enjoy feeling great in the morning and remember that feeling when you’re tempted.
Support groups like AA also work. See if you can identifiy with the stories in the big book of alcoholics anonymous. Bills Story is in front of the book. You can see the progression of the disease and you can see what he did to sober up. AA.org has a online version of the book. You can then visit a meeting or too to have a first hand experience on how the people stay sober.
You are clearly a good person looking to solve a drink problem. For yourself and your family, and friends. Well done you, and hold on to that thought and "driver" as it's your natural instinct.
You know yourself best..
The above very clever actions from heavyfoot, are mechanisms to reduce...exposure and temptation to drink again. Use those.
In addition, make a real effort to plan something to do on a Friday night = go to the cinema? Saturday evening? Go for a run at 6pm.. you will be tired out.. cook a proper meal then get to bed early. Avoid the drinking opportunities...
