I tried everything. Only drinking after a certain hour. Only drinking on certain days. Only having three drinks. None of it worked. I even tried to stop drinking on my own and that didn’t work either.
Today I just don’t drink for one day at a time. I know I can drink tomorrow. But that never gets here. And it hasn’t for quite some time.

Hi. I have cut down on my drinking from most nights to 2. The thing that worked for me was to incorporate exercise in my health overhaul. I did C25K and Parkrun and plan my runs for the early Morning so I don’t want to drink the night before as a hangover would either derail my plans or I wouldn’t be able to give my best. For me the fitter I get the less likely I am to undo all my hard work. Good luck with finding what works for you.
