I’m finding that I’m really starting to enjoy chocolate and I don’t usually have a sweet tooth! We went on a beautiful family walk on the hills today, I took lots of deep breaths and felt so clear headed and calm,

Sometimes people experience a desire for sugar when their bodies are denied alcohol. Usually it’s temporary. Ice cream and chocolate were my go to when I first stopped. I gained a few pounds, yes. But my priority to not drink came before the concern about my weight. Everything came secondary to my sobriety. The weight eventually came off. 🍀

Yes us too we have some emergency biscuits and a real emergency chocolate orange from Christmas if things really get tough.
