I am taking metformin 3 times daily. Will it cause any damage to my body ?

If your diabetes is under control,then you need not fear any damage.But once in a year your doctor will test your liver and kidney function.Also condition of your feet,BP,eyes etc will be checked by the diabetologist. .Please ensure that these examinations are done to make sure that your body has not suffered any damage.
