How Diabetes Type 1 and 2 is determined ? Pls intimate the detailed symptoms of each type.? Is it age related Thanks

I am 9=67 yr old and have developed recently diabetes. Now days i am on Insulin taking

20 mg in the morning and 12 mg in the evening

Pls let me know which type of diabetes i have.

Type 1 is in-herited.

Type 2 is self generated due to lifestyle, stress, obasity and addictions

Your question as to How Diabetes Type 1 and 2 is determined .

In my opinion , you go for a test of LIPID PROFILE TEST AND CHOLOSTEROL TEST and prodluce the report , the Doctor will determine , what type of diabatic Type-1 or

Type 2 you are suffering.

Type -I called IDDM ( means Insulin dependant Diabatic Mellitus)

Type -II -called . niddm ( means Non-Insulin-Dependant diabates Mellitus)

Type -1 is controlled by oral pills and for Type -11 one has to depend on

Insulin to be injucted on the body.

Even in younger age Type-2 is detected . However in both the case , symptom of

frequent urination , thirst , artificial hungryness , swetting , drilling of head , uneaseness

are felt , where a person , loses his stamina and get tire by little labour.

Hence , it is always self , do not do anything yourself , rather test your blood sugar and

conduct LIPID PROFILE TEST & CHOLOSTEROL TEST and take the opinion of your

doctor and if possible remain on medication , prescribed by Doctor .
