Recently HBA1C result is 9.1.connected with hypertension.Any advise on diet plan, change in lifestyle?
Avoid fried and oilly foods.
The reading indicates high level of sugar (assuming this is average over last 9/12 months with at least 3 readings).
Consult Doctor IMMEDIATELY.
Exercise (walking) is a must. Check with Doctor for any other exercise reco.
Take diet as suggested by Dietician/Doctor.
Check sugar levels frequently (At least 4-5 readings per week. More is advised in uncontrolled sugar situation).
Certainly, following strict regimen of diet, exercise and medication only will help.
YOUR HB1 AC IS HIGH AND PERHAPS SUGAR OUT OF CONTROL.MAKE A FOOD DIARY OF WHAT YOU EAT IN 72 HOURS AND MEET A GOOD DIABETOLOGIST. EXERCISE 1 HOUR A DAY- BRISK WALK, SWIMMING, CYCLING ARE ALL GOOD COUPLES WITH YOGA IN THE EVENINGS. IF YOU HAVE HIPERTENSION, CUT BACK ON SALT AND EAT MORE SALADS, LOWER CARBS AND HIGHER PROTEINS. MINIMISE NON VEG FOOD.
