Thank you for your input. I found out on google NSAIDS is Nonsteroidal Antiinflammatory Drugs... Is Ace-Proxyvon such a drug? This brings instant relief but as you say, it probably causes kidney and liver damage. Similarly I found out that ESR stands for erythrocyte sedimentation rate showing the level of inflammation. Surprisingly none of the orthopedists I consulted ever prescribed this, they were happy to take repeated x-rays and prescribe ace-proxyvon.On the other hand, they were happy to suggest knee implants, good margin for them in this
