Dear Friend,

Congratulations on your hba1c of 5.4. It shows excellent control but I would like to add a word of caution. Any hba1c less than 7 is indicative of control but trying to keep pushing it down could mean that you may increase the chances of hypoglycemia or low sugar.

I attended a Diabetes Summit program recently and the researchers were cautioning about the risk of Hypo.

God bless you

Regards

Badri

But you have not said whether it was a single measurement or average over a year or two. If it is later then it is extremely good, I think. But if it is former then you should take another two or three measurements at interval of 3 months or so (as suggested by Doctors) and then only you can be very sure. Anyway congrats for a good value.
