Do you take any medication?
Have you talked to your doctor about the gout recurring? Sometimes, when a person isn't well, the blood sugars can go up and down. What has your blood sugars been before, during and after the gout both times?
My doc recommended me to get a uric acid test done. Ideally the range should be in 3.5-7.2 mg/dL, mine came as 8.8 and hence now taking Feburic 40 tablet daily post Dinner.
My concern is more on changing lifestyle and food habits which will help eliminate the problem.
