Please give up using both.!!!
Both are bad
Hi guisingh ,
As suggested by sandybrown and Hidden , both should be avoided. Alternatively, you can use Organic Palm Sugar. Please limit its quantity to 1 or two tea spoons a day. Observe the BS spike with your glucometer and adjust the quantity appropriately.
If you need information on buying palm sugar, please send me a private chat message.
Artificial sweeteners have been shown to effect the gut bacteria and hence leading to other diseases. However, Stevia , an organic product from a plant leaf native to South America is being widely used in America as well as in India. So far, no significant side effects have been reported and it does not effect the gut bacteria. Hence, it can be used in limited quantities without any concern for tea, coffee etc. I have been using it for the last two years and I don't have any adverse effects to report.
The European Food Safety Authority and WHO both said that Stevia is safe in the amounts that are used in our daily use.
There is a report that dairy milk can cause breast cancer even if taken one cup per day . Now I don't know where we are heading . Meat , fish , eggs , fruits produced with chemical treatments , all cereals subject to chemicals , literally every thing has become polluted . Stevia is also supposed to be bad though it may get exposed in the long run .Thus we are compelled to eat very little due to the poisonous substances which is in another way of compulsory ration control .
Natural sweeteners may be preferred over artificial sweeteners.

Thanks.
I have been using Stevia for over 2 years now. No side effects at all except the taste need to be acquired and get used to.
