Hi, I want to know, which type of medicine (Homepathy, Ayurveda, Siddha, Allopathy, etc) is good to control the diabetes and good for fitness too?
Need advise to follow the treatment - Diabetes India
Need advise to follow the treatment
Except allopathy where
some research has been
done,all other systems are
scientifically unproved.
You can try at your risk.
Fitness depends on your diet, exercise and life style.Do not depend on drugs to enhance your fitness. Allopathy is the system which is followed by a vast majority of diabetes with success if followed diligently.Other systems do not have such success rate as allopathy. Decision is yours.
One needs to be cautious about Ayurvedic medicines as some of them contain metal powder ( Bhasma) which is harmful for kidneys...
Please consult with your doctor about the medications before you do anything to be on the safe side of things.
Please follow 1] 80% of your daily intake made up of RAW VEGETABLES and Leafy VEGETABLES, raw nuts and seeds. 2] Balance 20% of intake to be of cooked food if you can not do without it as habituated. 3] Take 1200-1600 kcal as total per day depending on your BMI structure and in proportion of 20% carbs-20% protein and 60% good plant based fat which should make up 1200-1600 kcal per day. I have used this diet habbit to turn around HbA1C readings [Not the sugar spike tests we generally performed every day] to safe normal level of 5.6. I am trying for still better.
