Depends on your age and severity of condition.Generally,it is expensive and gets more and more as you grow.

You are at the right place sir. How about going without or with minimum medications? Try idm.
To reduce cost of medications, go for generic medicines sold by medical shops set up by govt., where the cost of medicine is one half to one third of the cost of branded medicines at other shops. Both branded and generic medicines have same value pharmaceutically.
no I am retired and no source of income
I'm not sure. I will have to check.
If you have any medical insurance, you may pay less, but it depends. Can't give a definite total of price.
Oh. With the Affordable Care Act out here, it has some kind of discount, but this depends on the medication and supplies a person needs.
in india the following are approx costs
diabetic strips 100 cost s 1375 on line and 2000 in medical shops
A experienced endoctinologist charges Rs 750/1000 per visit
labtest for lipid profile with hbaic costs Rs 2500/3000
