Hi, m suffering from cervical spondylosis from last 5 years . Have done treatment in allopathy and physiotherapy. Also tries some Ayurveda but no benefit. Pls help to cure this . M fed up of this disease.

Sorry to hear that you have been through this condition in which you mentioned you have tried many treatments but no benefit. It seems there is no cure for this but you can manage its conditions especially the chronic pain. I would suggest you to follow your doctor's suggestion as well as carrying on the recommended exercise from your physiotherapist as this would ease the neck pain and stiffness. I don't know whether you are diabetic or not. If you are, how is your blood sugar control? Does diabetic condition affect your cervical issue?

Physiotherapy and neck excercises are core of treatment. You may require neck collar ,if advised by your orthopaedic surgeon.

Amitsinghals, sorry to hear of your spondolysis. Apart from the advice given by our friends here, I would suggest sleeping flat on your back on a firm mattress without a pillow, but with a rolled up towel under the neck to support it. It can seem uncomfortable at first, but it really takes strain off the neck.

As i too a person like you i suggest the following by which i am 80% alright

Sleep after filling the gap between head and shoulder.Do not lift any weight.No work to your fingeres.dont drive any vehicle.control your sugar level.take bath in a shower .while bathing do not strain your hand and fingeres

Follow for 6 months you will see the difference
