Type II diabetes and weight control

I am new to the community. I am controlling diet and my exercise helps me burn more than 1000 cals / day. I have lost 6 Kgs of weight and nearing my target of 78 Kgs.

Does one loose weight due to diabetes or is it due the exercise I am doing? what effect does diabetes have on weight?

What exercise do you do to burn 1000 calories?

Its a 3 Km walk with constant speed and varying slope, some slope being quite stiff. followed by stretching and weights

wow...whats ur routine to lose 1000 cals a day. I barely lose 200 after an hour of walking and about 100 after 20 minutes of cardio....
