Random blood sugar of a non diabetic is always <100 even <90. So 141 or 156 indicate that you are diabetic. 104kg! Even for 6 ft. tall person it is too much weight.

What your FBS and PPBS levels? Some weight reduction may help you in lowering BS level.

You are definitely showing signs of diabetes, though your HbA1c is quite encouraging.Problem is your weight.Unless you reduce your weight drastically, your problems will aggravate as you advance in age. Please understand the concept of Body Mass Index(BMI) and try to achieve a safe level.Search for BMI on the net.You will get all the information.

You are a dibetic under treatment (you are taking metformin) so your question whether u r diabetic or pre diabetic is irrelevant. Your hba1c shows your D is under control. But diet is the first line of treatment excercise and medicines come after that. Please reduce your carbohydrate intake drastically, loose weight and check fasting and pp glucose very frequently say twice a week at home and check hba1c once in three monthsm try to control ur D through diet and lifestyle and try to get out of metformin.
