DIABETES 2

My 77 year old Mom has Diabetes 2. As she gets older it is harder to keep her number's down. Is there a Holistic Medicine or supplement that can help that won't have other serious side effects? Years ago she ordered something natural with cinnamon and it helped , but she does not remember as my Dad passed and she has declined. Her number's have climbed t 300, and never used to do over 175. I have seen her watch what she eats but still has gotten worst. I do not want her taking all kinds of supplements, there has to be one that will work . Thanks
