My fasting sugar 140 - 150 if I take it after getting out of the bed whereas it is taken during the day after 8 hrsPP it is 100. why so??

What is 2hr. PPBS? what are your daily eating habits?

You are experiencing dawn phenomenon if you 2hr. PPBS is less than FBS. There is no specific remedy you have try different alternatives. Go through the links mentioned by Recyan.

My concern is if the FBS is taken in the morning after getting out of the bed it is more whereas if I fast for even 6 - 8 hrs during the day along with normal day activities it is less than 120. My PPBS after 2hrs ( along with the tab) is around 160 and after 3hrs it is 130+ depending on the kind of food. after 4hrs it is very normal. I am taking 750 mg Glucophage XR one in the morning and one in the night.

FBS SHOULD BE TAKEN UN EMPTY STOMACH IN THE MORNING. PPBS SHOULD BE TAKEN AFTER 1.30 HRS OF A MEALS OR 2 HOURS AFTER THE FIRST BITE. IF YOU TAKE IT AFTER 6-8 HOURS OF EATING IT IS RANDOM.
