I am diabetic since last 15 years. Now a days I am feeling some effect of long diabetics. I am having a feeling of less sensation in my leg

I have burning feeling in my feet. Also I hv been diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy and and there are blood in artery of my eyes which disturb me. Pl. give me guidance how can I prevent the effect of diabetics further in my life. I am just 50 years old.
