I am taking Januvia 100 mg , one tablet a day. Is there any other less expensive medicine that I can take in lieu of this.

I agree with the idea that reducing cost of medicines is only through reducing sugar levels.Thereby you can reduce the dosages gradually and may be,one day you will be rid of all medications.We can certainly hope that happens.

I have also faced the same problem and on enquiry was told that therea re no cheaper alternatives.

please stay away from this drug since it has been linked recently with chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic carcinoma.
