i am getting frequent abscess(Boils) continously for the past 8 months. reasons unknown. pl. tell me treatment and prevention method
1.Blood sugar fasting reading varies between 120 to 165 & PP 160 to 210 during last 2 months.
2.Glucored Forte 500 mg Tablet - twice daily, Diacramin tablet in morning, Stamace 5 for BP and 20 units of Lantus Injection before bed time. for Diabetes.

You have got lesser immunity to infection. Boils are caused by Staphylococcus aureus. The bacteria is always present on the skin. If you scratch, the bacteria will enter in your body causing boils. If your sugar level is high, the bacteria will flourish.
Your fasting blood sugar should be less than 100 mg/dL and post-prandial blood sugar should be less than 140 mg/dL. Control your blood sugar by diet, exercise and medications. Also check HbA1c. The test result should be less than 7%. Target level is less than 5.7%. Also check your blood sugar daily and avoid or reduce the quantity of foods that cause high blood sugar.
