Hi I am a 70 yr old woman who has hypertension and have been prescribed Lorstan potassium 50g daily together with bendrophlorise 50 but theclorstatin is causing throat restriction tried to stop this med But checked bp this morning 211 /70 do I need to return to the said med and just put up with side effects any advice will be really helpful thanks .

You must tell GP if having any side effects. I have had to change medication because of mouth and throat swelling up.
