There are certain symptoms of diabetes that you have to watch for like itching, excessive thirst, frequent urination, small wounds not healing normally, feeling lack of energy even after eating normal food etc.If your family has a history of diabetes and if you feel any of these symptoms,go to a diagnostic laboratory in the morning and give urine and blood samples to test for diabetes. You will have to give samples twice, once on empty stomach and again after one and half to two hours after eating your normal breakfast. You will get the results on the same day and you can know yourself whether you are diabetic or not.
