I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2004. During the last year or so became more pro active and started running, During this journey I have lost 4 stone in weight and no longer required insulin. I have insulin free until recently where apparently my condition has progressed, around the same time I completed the great north run. Since going back onto insulin I feel my running performance is suffering, is this possible? Or is it physiological.
