Hi, I'm active on several of HUs forums, I am Not diabetic, but my late husband was Type 2 and My son has been showing signs of it. He has recently been referred to the hospital as he has been discovered to have micro aneurisms in his dominant eye.

I was a qualified nurse, now retired and am looking for the modern ways to cope with Type 2, as it is next to impossible to get a GP's appointment in this area.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Cheers, Midori
