Hi my name is Mona

I have diabetes 2. I don't take Meds for it. I don't want to. I've been in denial about it for years. Just don't want to do nothing about it. Well I have to now, it's effecting everything my body my mind my energy well just can't go on like I've been doing.

For the past three months I've tried to eat healthy. Well now I bought this book and learning how sugar effects us and it's in everything I eat. I've started this diet three days in. It's hard! Of course I ate a few rasisn with natural peanut butter. Just wondering if this is a good start or should I find another guide for diabetes.

Try looking up a diet called the ketogenic diet , it works for a lot of people even reversing diabetes type two

What are the best sources for ketogenic diet books or websites? I've found I can only have 25 carbs per day or less. : /

Hi Mona, there are plenty of tips if you search Youtube. Also there's a list of foods which help slow release sugar into you're body and maintain your energy level (I eat Porridge in the morning which is one example)
