PARKINSON'S MOVEMENT is pleased to announce its first photography competition. But this is a photography competition with a difference. We want you to design the headers for PARKINSON'S MOVEMENT (parkinsonsmovement.com)

1) photos must be the work of the person submitting them.

2) photos have to be 2000 pixels wide and 360 pixels high (or in that same height to width ratio).

3) photographs must have the theme of movement

4) photos must not be copyrighted.

5) you are eligible to submit photos if you are a person with Parkinson's, a carer, relative or in some way connected to Parkinson's. If you're unsure, ask us.

The prize will be at least a bottle of champagne. The best entries will be used as headers on the website.

Submit entries to contact@parkinsonsmovement.com

Closing date: December 15th 2011

"not copyrighted" seems clear enough. But, I gotta ask, because sometimes one is surprised by the answer ...

By default, I have the least restrictive Creative Commons license on the photos I load onto flickr, and I want to check if that would need to be removed to be a candidate for this.

My uploads have "Attribution Creative Commons", which is described by creativecommons.org/licenses/ in non-legalese as:

"This license lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation. This is the most accommodating of licenses offered. Recommended for maximum dissemination and use of licensed materials."

By "not copyrighted" we mean essentially that the image belongs to you and you would be legally entitled to allow it to be used as a header for the PARKINSON'S MOVEMENT website. In other words you took the photo and have not sold it (say to a magazine or newspaper).
